The law firm Janet, Jackson & Susan LLP Advocates was established and registered in June 2016. Prior to its formation the partners had being operating as associates under J.M MUTUA & CO ADVOCATES which was established in the year 2005 and operated under such until 2016.

Janet M. Mutua who owned the J. M.MUTUA & CO ADVOCATES had begun her practice in law as an associate advocate at the firm of NZEI & CO ADVOCATES dealing with general litigation in the year (2000-2001). She then moved to the firm of B.M MUSAU &CO ADVOCATES as an associate advocate where she rose the ranks to a partner between the years (2001-2005).

During that period she was actively involved in litigation, general advisory role to both local and international clients and also in the administrative work. In the year 2005 J.M Mutua established J.M Mutua & Co Advocates as the sole proprietor, the business operated under her leadership with four associates and several interns until the year 2016. During that time it is worth noting that the firm opened branches in Nairobi at the Agricultural House 2nd Floor room 210 P.O Box 10332-00100 Nairobi and another branch at Tala located at Tala House room 11 P.O Box 2261-Machakos.

In June 2016 J.M Mutua together with Jackson M. Lord and Susan K. Musau established the Janet, Jackson & Susan (LLP) Advocates. The Firm has since then grown and opened another branch at Mombasa located TSS TOWERS of P.O Box 82685-80100 Mombasa bringing the total Number of branches to four.
Since then JANET, JACKSON & SUSAN LLP ADVOCATES has being growing steadily and currently the law firm has 4 practicing Advocates of the high Court, 3 interns who are now holding over and a total of 12 qualified and experienced employees serving across the four branches.
